Building Information Specialist,
As a Building Information Specialist at CASE, Tim Dumatrait provides BIM and project support for AEC clients where his experience and interests help designers minimize process friction and foster clearer decision making. Prior to joining CASE, Tim worked as a designer and project manager with Eskew + Dumez + Ripple in New Orleans. At EDR, he worked to enhance the use of software tools for daylight analysis, energy modeling, construction cost analysis, LEED documentation, and fabrication. He earned both his Bachelor’s of Science and Master of Architecture degrees from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he taught Revit and Rhino workshops after graduating. His collaborative projects have been exhibited at the Architecture and Design Museum in Los Angeles, CA and AIA Emerging Professionals Annual Exhibition.
A Louisiana native (Breaux Bridge) and recent transplant to New York City, Tim enjoys learning about statistics, math and programming. Besides “getting his nerd-on” as we like to say, he enjoys carpentry, running, sports gossip, fried chicken, and maps (in any combination).
